QUEENSLANDERS FOR SAFE WATER, NOT TAKING FLUORIDE LYING DOWN

The Government in Queensland may have swallowed the dirt dished out by the American and British Government idiots but the good people of Queensland refuse to play dead and are fighting back. There is growing dissent in the USA against fluoridation and many towns and cities are now overturning previous fluoridation decisions. The tide is turning here in the UK as well. Little wonder when you take a few minutes to look at recent fluoride research which demonstrates how useless and dangerous this muck really is.

People do not like paying out taxes so that some numpty in parliament or the local council can poison innocent people and trouser a pile of dosh for doing it. The same goes for dentists either too corrupt or too frightened to stand aside from the discredited orthodoxy that still tries to sell and profit from fluoride and fluoridation.

If fluoride does have one useful purpose it must be the fact that it is now exposing to public view, the politicians we really dont want or need. I refer to the stupid, the outdated, the corrupt, the dishonest, the deceitful and all those who are a danger to democrasy and the will of the people. Ask them a few straight questions about the efficacy of fluoride or about its safety and you will discover the same tosh they always spout about it being "safe and effective" when its about as safe and effective as arsenic or lead.

Its a wonder they don't advocate putting asbestos in the water so we dontt catch fire. Perhaps they should try the latter on themselves becasue its very hot where these dudes are going to end up if they continue with this deception . You can always tell when these nutters are telling porkies, their trousers move when they speak.

PCTs -- Waste, Incompetence and Corruption in Equal Measures.

For the most part, it is not the Doctors nurses or dentists who are the problem with the modern NHS, as per usual its the ever growing hordes of pen-pushers, seat polishers, puppets, parrots, rubber stampers and political appointees, often referred to as Middle Management who seem to be the biggest drain on NHS resources. Naturally these people gravitate to the Primary Care Trusts PCTs where they can do the most damage for the littlest effort.

The PCT is an environment in which expertise, local knowledge, sincerity and good intentions can quickly drown in the quicksand of Newspeak, Reports and Targets so beloved by politicians and mandarins alike. Even apparently sincere people with the best of intentions can soon find themselves on the road to hell in such an atmosphere.

Health Ministers of various political colours have come up with much guff and inappropriate policies over the years. The Tories for example as a first stage of making the NHS a two-tier service, contracted out cleaning services to private companies clearly lacking in thoroughness and expertise. Dirty wards and exponential growth of MRSA or C Dif were the obvious and predictable result.

The current regime quickly grabbed the baton and ran with it, setting about the destruction of NHS dental services and encouraging private dentistry thus placing NHS dentists on the endangered species lists. Here in East Lancashire for example according to the local press, at the last count more than 40,000 people could not find a dentist at all. Little wonder that hospital A and E units are drowning under a tsunami of emergency patients.

In East Lancashire they still were not content and closed the Burnley General A and E Unit despite massive objection from all quarters. Now doctors waste thousands of pounds on taxis up and down the M65 fuelling CO2 emissions, and operations and treatments take place in ambulances. Councillors have told me several horror stories about the results of this madness. How ironic it is that the nearest A and E Unit for patients in Pendle in East Lancashire is now in North Yorkshire. When the NHS is run by such a mindless government, is it any wonder that the PCTs are just pathetic glove puppets?

Only the other morning on BBC Radio Four, like some sick Christmas present, a new report stated that care and compassion in the NHS had declined further during 2008. And what is the governments answer to this type of revelation? Why nothing less than a new web site where the public could award or punish their GP,s in a farcical top ten Beauty Parade. Having tried and failed at moving the deck chairs on the Titanic, they are now re-painting them. What next I wonder? A new movie... “Health Service 2” with Alan Johnson as Lex Luthor??

If you still think senior figures in the NHS, PCTs etc actually know what they are talking about or what they are doing check out the following extracts printed in the Gloucestershire Gazette On the 23rd December 2008. “The PCT is awaiting a feasibility study on the project but members of the trust board said they were in favour of fluoridation.” Chairman Chris Clarke told a meeting of the board last Wednesday: "I can see no problem and it makes an awful lot of sense." Nobby Clark can see no problems hahahaha and fluoridation makes an awful lot of sense hohoho. I think we should pay particular attention to the word “Awful.” Rather obviously, even before any feasibility study or consultation has been carried out, they have already made up their minds to add this crap to Gloucester's water supply.

Perhaps the biggest plonker on Gloucester NHS must be non-executive director David Hardwood who said "There must be a lot of health benefits other than dental. I imagine(sic) fluoride helps with all sorts of things. “ Now that's what you call a vivid imagination freed from all constraints of knowledge and common sense. "I just can’t quite see why we have to go into such detail on fluoridation when companies already put all sorts of cocktails of chemicals in the water to purify it." Doh !!!

Mr Hardnutt not only cannot see, but also has no wish to do so and best of all does not understand the subtle but non the less important difference between treating and purifying the water and treating and polluting the consumer. Make no mistake about it, adding fluoride is pollution. Isn't it nice to know that the health of Gloucester is in such a safe pair of claws.

Of such arrogance and stupidity are PCTs made and I have absolutely no hesitation therefore in nominating Mr Woodentop and the Gloucester NHS as the first contender for the 2009 Flat Earth Award. If its true that ignorance is bliss, the NHS/PCT in Gloucester must now be approaching Nirvana.

2008 Good News - Bad News!

Despite the latest news from Queensland Australia and Southampton in the UK, on balance, I would say that 2008 has been a positive and progressive year in the fight against fluoride and those who advocate it. Opposition world wide has never been stronger or more determined and there are now signs that the tide is at last turning.

In the UK for example, after sterling work from the UK Councils Against Fluoride and with help from the Fluoride Action Networks' Paul Connett, the Isle of Mann government rightly gave fluoride and the fluoridistas the bums rush. This was achieved not by militant or radical action but by campaigners ensuring that there was a frank and open debate which allowed the public, the politicians and the media to examine the science and the facts. When the oxygen of publicity actually reaches the subject of fluoridation, the majority of those sitting on the fence usually turn against fluoridation. All the bull in the world from the BDA or the BFS amounts to nothing when confronted by the facts. Le; fluoride is not a medicine, fluoride is not safe, fluoride doesn't work and people don't want it.

Similarly, Local authorities all over Lancashire were also far from impressed by the unscientific tosh emanating from the lips of meshuggeners such as the Chief Medical Officer, Ellis Friedland and his truly pathetic Power Point presentation. This consisted of a lot of guff about the Government paper chase and only one page about the science which showed a diagram of a tooth which was attacked by sugar and carbohydrates and saved by fluoride. How we laughed. Perhaps the best nail in this coffin is the truly excellent research and and report from Hampshire County Council which one must presume all Government glove puppets are desperate not to read.

Friedlands' cohorts at the East Lancs Primary Care Trust seem to know even less than he does but of course when push comes to shove they keep schtum in anticipation no doubt of some reward at a future date. Their lethal combination of ignorance, fence-sitting, smug indifference and incompetence (which is used world wide and not just here in the UK) allows the fluoridistas to browbeat and brainwash the public, the media and governments into believing their lies and nonsense. The latest example of which is a clearly planted article in the Daily Telegraph, a paper which once actually read press releases before printing them.

If you can actually force them to show their hand in a scientific discussion, fluoride is quickly shown up as the complete rubbish it really is. But this is difficult because they will not usually show up at open meetings unless they have themselves convened them and even when they do make a public appearance, they always forget to bring any evidence with them. PCT meetings are supposed to be open to the public of course but here in Pendle, they handed out a variety of different stories to people who phoned for advice about the next meeting, and promised to keep us all informed about when fluoride would be discussed. Despite all this public interest however, they still managed to “forget.” to let us know.

Now however, even in the USA, where this political poison first took root, the election of President Elect Obama brought with it victories for scores of Towns and Cities who now reject fluoridation. The issues are making major news on TV and the Press and heated arguments are being heard in various councils. Criticism is coming from a wide range of medical and academic sources as new evidence is reviewed and people are at last realising that fluoridation really doesn't work in any meaningful way and that its' wide ranging dangers outweigh any discernible benefits. One must hope that with a new administration in power later this month they may care to look at evidence that fluoridation is particularly hazardous to Afro Americans and Hispanics and take the appropriate action.

But enough of the good news. The British government still exemplifies the fluoridistas combination of indifference, incompetence and corruption of the democratic process and hardly makes any pretence at consultation or involvement of the people Indeed, it has spent a small fortune of our money, has ignored all the evidence and public opinion and seems set dump the poisonous crap in Southamptions water and some of Hampshires too. Shame on all who have supported fluoride in the face of all evidence and criticism, and, come the next local or general elections, lets hope the public insist they make career moves away from the area. Perhaps most sadly of all, Australias' Government is now using the same tactics to force fluoride down the throats of it citizens, and runs along behind the British Government like a Corgi sniffing an Alsatians bottom.

Whether it be post office or accident and emergency closures or fluoridation of drinking water, the much vaunted “consultation” is always a total sham and millions of taxpayers £s are wasted to bully the public into accepting the inevitable. In 2003, they even enacted extraordinary new laws granting water companies, “immunity from prosecution” in the event of an accident with fluoridation and “indemnity for loss of income” due to public refusal to pay for polluted water. It remains to be seen how long these “laws” survive when the Class Actions and the Credit Crunch effects surface. Fluoride? Just say No!

DIRTY TRICKS AND DIRTY WATER ON THE WAY TO HUDDERSFIELD

The Pro-Fluoridation lobby has now opened up its campaign in two new areas, Bristol and Huddersfield and we urge people in those areas to keep a sharp look out for the lies and misinformation which are sure to follow. As per usual it starts with an innocuous sounding article in the local paper which purports to discuss the ifs and buts of water fluoridation but sooner or later gets down to its real task which is waffling on about the "benefits" of fluoridation as though it was all fine and dandy and a done deal so that we buy into the idea that agreeing to be poisoned is a good idea.

Even when an "expert" or "independent consultant is roped in there is usually a very noticeable lack of facts or real science and most of the text can be traced back to the original press releases produced in the 1940s.. Sometimes the wording has changed but often they have not even bothered to do that. No mention is made of recent research from respected sources in the USA, India and China highlighting links with brittle bones and bone cancer or disruption of the endocrine system via the thyroid which can lead to weight gain, lethargy and diabetes, and of course lowered IQs are seldom mentioned. Dental fluorosis (mottling and staining of the teeth) is one of the first signs of trouble but this if mentioned at all, it is usually described as a "cosmetic problem" but try telling that to someone who is no longer confident enough to smile.

More importantly of course the "mild" fluorosis can be become moderate or even severe depending on the amount of fluoride involved and length of time the sufferer has been exposed to it and of course. some people are more sensitive to it and because fluoride is present as a "trace element" in a wide variety of foods and drinks there is no knowledge of or control of the amount each individual is ingesting. When its in the water supply there is little or no escape from it and some is even absorbed via the skin during washing and bathing and of course, brushing with fluoridated tooth paste is all going to mount up. What this means is that existing dosage is not known and cannot be calculated but total idiots still talk about optimal amounts and other tosh. And who are these idiots i hear you ask. The article in the Huddersfield Examiner (December 16th) ticks all the usual boxes when it comes to misinformation. Fluorosis is only “mild” and that's the only problem, Dr Peter Clemenson the “expert” is, we are told, “course leader, MSc Analytical Science, School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield” but either he knows nothing or the paper decided not to print it because it would be too taxing to have facts or science in a family paper, or too taxing for the reporter more likely.

For example, we are told that “The addition of fluoride to potable water is still a controversial issue, despite the fact that in several countries, including America, a majority of the population enjoys the benefits(sic) of having fluoride” Well knock me down with a feather! Perhaps that's why 63 towns and cities in the USA just voted to dump it. And then we are also told that For well over 50 years, it has been known that adding fluoride to public water in very low concentration inhibits tooth decay or dental caries.

Well, maybe it has been known in the past but its now known that rather than protecting teeth its actually helping to destroy them and make people ill. True it is that dental health has improved noticeably since WW2 but the same applies irrespective of whether the area has been fluoridated or not. Compare for example, the Fluoridated ares of the USA and the non fluoridated Europe over the same period, the improvement is the same.

Fluoride is so safe in fact that India and China are spending a fortune on ways of removing the crap from water supplies because of the major health problems it is causing. Of course, what do those people know, they are only Indians and Chinese, and certainly not clever American or British vested interests. If the naturally occuring levels of sodium fluoride can be so dangerous to health, how much worse are the artificial “fluorosilicates” which Alan Johnson the British Governments Quack Doctor and Snake Oil salesman are peddling. They must be safe because they are scraped from the smokestacks of the aluminium and pesticide factories and contain traces of other toxic residues.

Finally, it is actually illegal and unethical to medicate (or mass medicate) people without the consent of the patients concerned so how much more illegal is is for Alan Johnson MP and Minister to force us to swallow this crap? And seeing as how its so safe, you can swallow mine as well as yours and we will just watch what happens next. Government ministers have no devine right to prescribe what doctors cannot. Water poisoned with fluoride which you have to pay for? Just Say No.

So be warned good people of Huddersfield and anywhere else where the threat of fluoride and those who promot it raise their ugly heads. There is bigger crap on the way and the Examiner article is just the tip of the oncoming iceberg. Be on the look out for any articles using words such as "safe and effective" "Optimal levels of fluoride" and "fluorosis is merely a cosmetic problem" etc. and for anything about fluoride and fluoridation emanating from the area Primary Care Trusts, the British Fluoridation Society, the American Dental Association et al. The information is incorrect and out of date and so are the those who parrot it. I should not take too much notice of Ellis Friedman the CMO of Lancashire or whatever he calls himself. Anyone who has encountered him and his pathetic mini-powerpoint presentation on Fluoride quickly realises that although he may know a lot about the paperwork of the NHS and PCTs, when it comes to fluoride he seems to know SFA. His presentations contain no science, no useful facts and certainly no mention of the many serious diseases with which fluoride is associated nowadays. He merely waffles on as per usual about “Public Consultation process” which anyone involved in “consultation” over A and E closures knows to be a huge con not to mention an oxymoron.

The so-called "values" of fluoridation are a huge LIE made up from a rag bag of many smaller Porkies and totally out of date info which has never been tested or amended since the 1940s when this fraud was first cooked up. We can but hope that next time Friedland or any of his ilk turn up to waffle about the value of putting toxic waste in the tap water, his power point fuses leaving more time for real debate and embarrassing questions.

The British Governments of whatever persuasions, have for many years prattled on about the "Special Relationship" between the UK and the USA but anyone who has studied this knows its usually one sided and often embarrassingly so. The UK holds on to the shirt tales of the USA hoping for the occasional hand out or a bit of protection, salivating at the merest hint of encouragement, and consequently whether it be bombing brown people and stealing their oil or dumping toxic waste such as fluoride in the water, the UK either does as its told or emulates its master in the hope of a dog biscuit.

Sadly despite cries for total independence coming from Australia the Government in Oz still hangs onto British shirt tails and emulates the UK's pitiful pro-fluoride lobby, just as the UK emulates the USA. The governments merely go through the motions of consultation to give the people the impression that their views really count but of course they don't really. Out of such intellectual and political bankruptcy, Government policies are made. "Oh Brave New World that has such People in it!"
