This is a surprise! I thought the (pro-fluoride) PCTs were being disbanded.)

D. Mail 5.6.12 “DENTISTS AREN’T TO BLAME FOR THIS ROTTEN SYSTEM” (Letter from retired dentist. shortened)

It may surprise the public, but there are many dental practices who are only too keen to provide an NHS dental service, but are denied the right to do this by the Primary Care Trust (PCT.) The PCT often use the argument that the practice isn’t big enough. The budgets are absorbed by the bigger, multi-surgery practices. My dentist - a person of great integrity & technical expertise, is branching out on her own from a 3-surgery practice, but she’s unable in the short term, to provide an NHS service because the local PCT won’t let her. So her existing NHS patients won’t be able to follow her to her new practice.

THIS IS YET ANOTHER FORM OF ELECTRONIC MICROWAVE POLLUTION WHICH IS HELPING TO CREATE AN ELECTRONIC FOG. MANY PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE HEALTH DANGERS OF THIS KIND OF POLLUTION AND WILL NOT ACCEPT IT WITHOUT A FIGHT.

IS WATER fluoridation the best method of preventing oral health problems on the Northern Rivers?

It's a debatable point, and four Northern Rivers mayors will debate it at a live public forum on Monday, June 25.

It's all part of a television pilot - The 4th Estate - devised by Southern Cross University Bachelor of Media Honours student Alex Lewers, and conducted similarly to ABC TV's Q&A and the SBS Insight program.

It's a contentious issue, with the NSW Land and Environment Court recently overturning an appeal to stop Rous Water introducing fluoride into the drinking water.

Alex Lewers said The 4th Estate was aimed at restoring the media's function as political watchdog by bringing accountability back into political decision-making.

The debate is being held at Studio ONE29 at SCU from 5-7pm.

To be part of the live forum audience, contact Alex Lewers at fourth.estate2012@gmail.com, giving your name, position on the issue (for, against, uncommitted), age and your council area.
